Indian Cooking Recipe for Festivals:


Mango (raw)
Neem Flower (petals only) - 2 tea spoons
Mustard - 1/2 tea spoon
Green Chillies
Jaggery (Gur) - 1 cup(100 gm)
Salt to taste

Method :

  1. Put pan on fire;fry mustard in little oil until the mustard cracks
  2. Cut the mangoes into small pieces and cut the chillies also
  3. After the cracking of mustard put the pieces of mangoes, chillies and neem flowers into the pan
  4. Add one cup of water and allow to boil until the mango pieces get cooked
  5. After the mango is well cooked add jaggery and salt; allow to boil till it turns thick
  6. Remove from fire and serve
