Indian Cooking Recipe : Jam Tartlets
1 short crust pastry
20 tart moulds
Pre-heat the oven to fairly hot at 400F. have ready 18-20 patty tins.
Make the short pastry dough.
Roll out thinly and cut into circles, larger than
the moulds, with a cutter.
Line each tin with a round of pastry, pressing down gently with the fingertips.
Place a spoon of jam in each. Do not add too much or it will boil out.
Bake in a pre-heated over for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven.
Leave in tins for 2-3 minutes. Remove care-fully and cool on a wire tray.
Serve with custard.
