Indian Cooking Recipe : Tortilla Wrap
For the Sauce
1 tbsp minced garlic
4 tbsp sugar
5 tbsp fesh lime juice
1 tbsp minced ginger
3-5 minced chillies
2/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
3 tbsp sesame oil (preffered)
6-8 sliced mint leaves
salt to taste
For the Salad Wrap
12 -1 6 medium leaves of lettuce
1-1/2 cup tomato slices
1 cup shredded red cabbage
4 thinly sliced green onions
1 cucumber sliced
2 cups beans blanched and sliced
For Making sauce
In a sauce pan over medium heat add minced galic, sugar and lime juice and bring
to boil for about 2 minutes.
Remove the sauce pan from heat and stir in all the remaining ingredients and
For the Tortilla Wrap
Toss all ingredients together except for the lettuce and set aside.
Heat 4 precooked flour tortillas and place 1-2 lettuce leaves in the center
of each tortilla.
Divide the cabbage and tomato mixture in four equal parts and place on lettuce.
Pour sauce evenly over the mixture; then roll sides of tortillas to make wraps.
Enjoy tortilla wraps.
