Indian Cooking Recipe : Beef Cream Kebabs
1½ lb 1" thick sirloin steak
2 tsps. ginger, very finely grated
1 clove garlic, crushed
1-2 tsps. finely chopped green chili
4 tbsps double cream
¾ tsp salt
1 large egg, beaten
3 oz dried breadcrumbs
Trim meat into 1" cubes.
Put into a bowl and add ginger, garlic, chili, cream and salt. Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for 3-6 hours.
Pour enough oil into a wok to come to a depth of 1".
Heat over medium low flame.
Put the breadcrumbs in a dish.
Dip the meat cubes one at a time into the beaten egg and then into the breadcrumbs,
rolling them around until they are encrusted.
When the oil is heated put in as many meat cubes as the pan will hold in a single
Fry, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked to your taste.
