Indian Cooking Recipe : Kulkuls
250 gm maida (flour)
125 gm semolina
3 tbsp ghee or butter
1 cup milk
4 tbsp sugar
½ tsp cinnamon powder
oil for frying the kulkuls
a pinch of salt
Heat the milk and mix in the sugar. Mix the flour, semolina, salt, cinnamon,
ghee, milk and water. Then knead into a hard dough.
Divide into tiny portions. Spread out each of these portions on the back of
a fork and roll them over to make the kulkuls.
Heat the oil and fry the kulkuls over a medium heat till these are crispy and
golden brown. Serve as a snacks with tea.
