Indian Cooking Recipe : Plantain Puli Curry
2 to 3 washed plantain, peeled, and diced
½ tsp urad dal
¼ tsp mustard
a small pinch hing
¼ tsp turmeric
¼ tsp tamarind paste
2 red chilli
1 tsp curry powder
A few curry leaves
3 to 4 tsp oil
1 tsp salt
Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and put the mustard.
When they crackle, put hing, urad dal, curry leaves, turmeric, red chilli and
Sprinkle water and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
Now put salt, curry powder and mix it well.
Add little water to tamarind paste and sprinkle this on the plantain curry.
Allow it to cook for a few more minutes.
