Indian Cooking Recipe : Coconut Aval
2 cups aval
½ cup grated coconut
2 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp ghee
¼ tsp mustard
½ tsp channa dal
½ tsp urad dal
2 red chillies
2 green chillies
a few curry leaves
a small pinch hing
1 tsp salt
Soak aval, and salt in ¼ cup of water for 10 minutes.
Sauté mustard, urad dal, channa dal, hing, curry leaves, red chillies,
chopped green chillies, and coconut in coconut oil until coconut turns slightly
Put soaked aval to the above, and simmer the stove and mix properly for 5 minutes.
Roast cashews in little ghee, and add it to the above.
