Indian Cooking Recipe : Watermelon And Srawberry Granita
Ingredients :
750 g skinned
seeded water melon
cut into chunks
375 g strawberries
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp fraise liqueur
1½ cups water
Method :
Place water and sugar in a saucepan, stir over low heat until sugar dissolves,
remove from until sugar dissolves, remove from heat and cool.
Puree the chopped watermelon and the washed, dried and halved strawberries in
a blender.
Stir in sugar syrup and liqueur.
Place mixture in a bowl and place it in an ice-cream machine and process according
to manufacturer's instructions.
Place granita in a container, cover and freeze until ready to use.
