Indian Cooking Recipe : Stuffed Cheese Roll
Ingredients :
For the roll :
1 cup besan
½ cup yogurt
2 cups water
3 or 4 green chillies
Garlic paste as per your taste
Salt as required
½ cup fenugreek leaves
1 egg
Cooking oil / butter as required
For the stuffing :
2 cups shredded mozerella cheese or grated paneer
1 small onion finely chopped
2 green chillies finely chopped
½ cup coriander leaves finely chopped
Pinch of Salt
Method :
Mix all the stuffing ingredients together. Keep aside.
Beat egg, water, curd, salt, chillies and besan flour in a blender. Mix this
well to make a fine paste.
Add finely chopped Methi ki bhaji leaves after blending and mix well again.
Let the paste stand for 5 minutes.
In a frypan put a little oil or butter and pour the mixture to form a thin pancake
like layer.
Put two spoons of the stuffing mix on top of this layer and fold it to make
a roll. On low heat, cook both sides of the roll.
Serve hot with Ketchup or Chutney.
