Potato Paneer Bake

Indian Cooking Recipe : Potato Paneer Bake

Ingredients :
For the potato layer :
4 boiled potatoes
4 green chillies, chopped
salt to taste

For the green peas layer :
2 teacups boiled green peas
1 tbsp coriander, chopped
5 green chillies, chopped
juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp sugar
salt to taste

For the paneer layer :
300 gms paneer,
1 onion, chopped
3 to 4 green chillies, chopped
salt to taste

For baking :
3 tbsp milk
1 teacup fresh cream
1 teacup fresh curds
6 tbsp grated cooking cheese
salt to taste
a little butter

Method:
For the potato layer :
Mash the potatoes coarsely. Put the green chillies and salt and mix properly.

For the green peas layer
Combine all ingredients together.

For the paneer layer
Combine all ingredients together.

How to proceed
Grease a baking dish and spread the potato mixture.
Spread the green peas mixture over the potatoes.
Finally spread the paneer mixture on top. Sprinkle the milk over the paneer layer. Beat the cream, put the curds and salt and spread over the paneer layer. Sprinkle the cheese and dot with butter. Bake in a hot oven at 450ºF for 20 minutes.
Ready to serve hot.
